  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Thomas Gibson Sloane (1858-1932), grazier and entomologist, was an expert on the Carabidae and the Cicindelidae, the ground and tiger beetle, and collected on numerous field trips throughout eastern Australia. He managed the pastoral station, Moorilla, near Young, from 1888 and became owner in 1910
