Correspondence between William Blackwood and Sons, publishers and Miles Franklin writing as Sarah Mills, William Blake and Brent of Bin Bin. Correspondece with other publishers and agents is included as well as correspondence with Mary Fullerton acting on behalf of Miles Franklin. This collection deals with one of Australian literature's mysteries, the authorship of the Brent of Bin Bin novels. The first Brent of Bin Bin novel, Up the country, was published in 1928 and it was not until 1966 that Miles Franklin was revealed as the author.
