- Published Information"Merry Christmas¶This photo of Anna Pavlova, dressed for her divertissement, Christmas, was one of her favourites. She signed it and gave it to those who helped her during her visit to Australia in 1929.¶¶The portrait was taken in Paris by the Viennese photographer, Dora Kalmus, who took the name Madame D’Ora for her studio work.¶¶Among those who were lucky enough to receive the photo were the Melbourne ballet teacher, Eunice Weston, and the artist and publisher, Sydney Ure Smith, whose magazine Home, featured Pavlova in photographic spreads."¶¶Reference:¶Published in Valerie Lawson's Dancelines, 24 December 2012. www.dancelines.com.au (accessed December 28, 2012)
