Lynda Boland was a trade-union official at the Redfern Mail Exchange in the 1970s and later a union organiser at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She is involved with a number of left wing organisations including the Communist League and has also been active in the women's liberation and anti-apartheid movements.

Includes material relating to the Redfern Mail Exchange industrial disputes of the 1970s, industrial issues at the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC), the Socialist Workers Party, the Communist League, the Women's Liberation Movement, anti-apartheid action, Aboriginal land rights etc.
